With the kindness of our valued donors we have managed to raise funds to provide the essential school requisites of School bag, stationery, Shoe voucher of Rs 1000 (primary school students) and Rs 1500 (secondary school students), water bottle for 317 students in 10 selected schools in remote Delft Islands, Jaffna District.
Phase 1 which will cover 317 students in 10 remote schools in Delft Island and Analaitivu, Jaffna. The donations will be made in accordance with COVID-19 guidelines and are currently scheduled for distribution beginning of December 2020 (depending on the prevailing situation at that time). Distribution will be done under the supervision of the respective Zonal Educational Officer and other officials.
We once again thank the generosity of our donors in Sri Lanka, USA, and other countries; by supporting us in this project, you have helped to bring light to the lives of children by giving them a hand to further their education and the opportunity for a brighter future.
