Our Goals


Sustainable Development Goals

Tarana Foundation has adopted several core goals from the 17 categories established by the United Nations’ initiative. The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for tackling urgent and crucial areas in all countries – developed and developing – in a global partnership. Tarana’s individual projects work towards fulfilling some of these goals.

HEALTH CARE

Providing hospitals with medicines, machinery, medical equipment, surgical consumables, and necessities.

EDUCATION
[SDG – QUALITY EDUCATION]

Providing basic requirements to school children in very remote rural villages (school bags, school supplies and school shoes) & supporting rural schools with much needed amenities.

WATER AND SANITATION
[SDG – CLEAN WATER & SANITATION]

Facilitating solutions to the rural communities in accessing clean drinking water (building wells, tanks and giving water purification options) & providing sanitation facilities to the rural schools (building toilets or renovating the existing ones)

HOUSING PROJECT

Initiating environmentally friendly projects in rural communities, creating environmental awareness, and supporting solutions to provide it.
